Welcome to the Club

At the Lundquist College of Business, we believe that business education extends far beyond the classroom, and our student-led clubs play a crucial role in shaping the future leaders of industry.

Through hands-on learning in case competitions, consulting projects, and investment portfolios, students in our college-supported clubs gain practical experience that mirrors the challenges they will face in their careers. Clubs also provide invaluable networking and professional connections, as well as a deep sense of community that inspires, encourages, and supports. In a club, as in business, you are part of something bigger than yourself.

We have clubs for nearly every interest, from Alpha Kappa Psi—a co-ed professional business fraternity recognized as the premier developer of principled business leaders—to our Warsaw Sports Business Club—which is open to all UO undergraduate students regardless of major or class year and is the largest student club on campus. Additionally, if students have a passion for a specific subject matter but no group exists, we encourage the establishment of a local chapter of an existing national club, or even founding a new club or organization.

In the Club, We're All Ducks

Our student-led clubs are active and multifaceted. Below are a few updates from a selection of our exciting student groups.

  • Alpha Kappa Psi: is the oldest club on campus and recently took members to Seattle to meet with UO alumni at Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, and Standish Management.

  • Beta Alpha Psi: accounting honor society offers tax preparation services free of charge to the University of Oregon and the community.

  • Net Impact: the graduate chapter helped organize the upcoming Summit for Sustainable Organizations at Lillis Business Complex with representatives from organizations across the Northwest.

  • Oregon Entrepreneurship Group: is a key component of the college's entrepreneurship ecosystem, connecting students with the V10 summit and the Oregon Innovation Challenge, which to date has supported more than 750 student startups over the past few years.

  • UO Investment Group: continues to outperform benchmarks with its portfolio of stocks and bonds while taking advantage of new Bloomberg Terminals—available to all students in the college thanks to a gift from Ferguson Wellman, with Owen Hyde, Chris Leupold, JC Lorenzo, Daniel McCormick, Mark and Nancy Palmer, and Vista Capital Partners.

  • UO Real Estate Investment Group: now has more than 200 members and will be analyzing and presenting to investors on a large development project in New York.

  • UO Sales Club: started last fall and recently completed its first internal sales competition.

  • Warsaw Sports Business Club: students kicked off the academic year with a victory in the Sports Marketing Association's Case Competition in St. Louis fall term.

  • Women in Business: is taking 20 students to visit eight New York City companies, including top employers like Estée Lauder, Goldman Sachs, PwC, the NFL, the NBA, LinkedIn, and NBCUniversal.

Make an Impact on Student Success

Whether it's our finance club managing real-world assets, our marketing association developing campaigns for local organizations, or our entrepreneurship group helping startups take off, these experiences give students the confidence and skills they need to lead.

Your support ensures that clubs like these continue to thrive, providing students with the resources, mentorship, and opportunities that shape their futures. By supporting professional development workshops, travel to case competitions, enhanced technologies, and more, your generosity fuels the transformative experiences clubs offer.

Thank you for being a part of and supporting our growing community. If you'd like to learn more about how our student organizations are making an impact or explore ways to get involved, I'd love to connect.
